The Club celebrated 75 years sailing in Sutton Creek with a Gala Dinner in the Marine Hotel, Sutton a couple of weeks ago. A big thank you to Ciara O’Tiarnaigh, who was tasked with arranging the event. And what an event we had. 
A massive turnout saw 206 members, former members and guests party long into the night. The evening included an address from former member and now President of the ISA David Lovegrove.
We also had in attendance our living Olympians, including medalist Jamie Wilkinson and his sailing partner from 1980 David Wilkins. 
The Club made especial presentations to all our past Commodores, while also celebrating the Club achievements over the years and its contribution to Irish sailing since 1940. See Winkie Nixon’s account and write up of the evening in Afloat.
