14/166 Wicked Sadie CYBC OpenAs mentioned earlier the GP14 Leinster Championship will be held in Sutton in July. The event is being held and run in parallel with the 2016 Mirror Nationals. It is 30 years since Sutton Dinghy Club hosted the Nationals. 1986 was the year, the event took place around Hurricane Charlie and also produced a Sutton winner in Roger Morris. While the Mirror fleet is not the same force it was back in the days of Dan O’Grady, Roger Morris, Brian Jennings, Shane O’Grady the title will still be eagerly sailed for with a couple of our own sailors including Conor Twohig/Brian Sheehy and Oscar Langan/Lughaidh Croasdel  hoping to be in the mix at the end.

Online entry can be made here on the Club website. We have camping facilities available and we are planning a Supper evening on Saturday 23rd, but we need you to indicate interest asap via Club email, Club office or via the contact form on the website.
