Sailing Course T&C’s and Booking Conditions

  1. A course can be booked : (a) By going online to www.sdc.ie (b) By phoning the club +353 1 8393135 using Credit /Debit Card (c) By completing a booking form and returning it with the full fee or deposit of €60 to Sutton Dinghy Club. All course fees including balances must be paid in full three weeks prior to commencement of course.
  2. Failure to attend will result in forfeiture of course fees. Fees are only refundable subject to course cancellation by Sutton Dinghy Club.
  3. If applicant is under 18 years of age the booking form must be signed by parent/guardian.
  4. Sutton Dinghy Club reserves the right to cancel any course if insufficient bookings have been received.
  5. Transfer between courses will NOT be allowed after three weeks prior to the Course commencement date. Nor will fees be refundable in the event of cancellation by participant after this date. In the event of cancellation by participant any subsequent refund will be subject to an administration charge of €15.
  6. As sailing is a weather-dependent sport, Sutton Dinghy Club is not responsible for sailing time lost due to bad weather.
  7. Sutton Dinghy Club carries insurance relating to third parties but is not responsible for loss of personal possessions.
  8. Trainees become temporary members of Sutton Dinghy Club for the duration of the course. Membership fee is included in the course fee.
  9. The use of mobile phones or cameras in the changing rooms is prohibited.
  10. Participants, or in the case of those under 18 years of age, their Parents or Guardians, give consent for photographic images to be used in information and publicity materials and on the Sutton Dinghy Club website and related websites.
