Two SDC boats travelled to Carlingford Lough Yacht Club for the IDRA 14 Northern Championships on the 5th & 6th June 2010.

Unfortunately, due to Charles Sargent's injury 14/126 did not compete. Alan Carr and Dana Kilroy in Starfish - 14/38 - won the event with first place in all four races.

On 19th May 2010 four intrepid IDRAs sailed across the bay to the NYC regatta in strong winds gusting up to 25 knots. They made it there in 35 minutes. Is this a record?

Scorie & Wendy in 14/163 were forced to retire in the first race due to a broken main halyard.
Gordon & Mark in 14/134 finished 5th overall.

Gerry & Jim in 14/120 got 4th place. Alan & Ryan in 14/38 won the event with first in both races.'
