Hugh Perrette (age 10) was delighted to fly the SDC flag at the top of the Regatta Fleet in this year's Munster Oppie Championships. He produced a consistent 2nd, 3rd and 1st finish to seal victory in a fleet dominated by RCYC and NYC competitors. Hugh is part of SDC's excellent Oppie training programme organised by Wendy Rudd with Oppie Coach Katie Malcolm. The Munster's were a great opportunity to put into practice what he's learned. When he's not doing endless roll-tacks he's a key defender with Monkstown Hockey Club's very successful U12 hockey team.
