News - 1st Febeary,2012.
Hi
All,
I would like to welcome you all to a new year of Oppie sailing in
Sutton.
We have a packed calendar between Sutton Club Racing and IDOAI events
not to mention fun sailing and coaching throughout the season.
First up is Baltimore Spring training starting on the 13th of February
to the 17th - I know it is short notice but those of you who attended
last year will know what a great event it is. - see details on theIODAI

At
the end of March we will have a rigging session at the Club this
we hope will encourage people to have their boats ready and sea
worthy for the new season.
Team
racing
Pico
team racing starts in March so we look forward to seeing you all
for these fun practise sessions :-)
House
keeping
Hopefully
your boats have been under cover for the Winter and any repair works
are well underway. Remember to pick up your boat parking permit
for 2012 when you renew your Membership.
There
are only a couple of small rules for boat parking and these are
there to ensure your boat is safe and for the consideration of other
members.
- All boats must be returned to their allocatedd boat parking
space in the Rack.
- All boats must have working launching trolleys.
- All boats must have a proper working cover.
- I recommend www.kwik2me.com
for covers.
- All boat parts should have your name and sail number clearly
marked on them.
- It is easy to lose or get bits that all look the same mixed
up. including the covers.
