Craftinsure GP14 Championships of Ireland 2013

SUTTON DINGHY CLUB (24th, 25th & 26th August 2013)

Sutton Dinghy Club together with the GP14 Class Association of Ireland have chosen to use the occasion of the hosting of the GP14 Championship of Ireland to raise funds for the very worthy charity Make-A-Wish Ireland FoundationMake-A-Wish® Ireland has one simple aim – to grant the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with a life-threatening medical condition to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. A wish granted is true magic for the child providing respite from their normal routines of hospitals, doctors and treatment.

Since its inception in 1992 Make-A-Wish in Ireland has granted wishes for over 1300 brave children, realising their greatest wish and allowing them experience the hope, strength and joy each wish provides. In all possible cases Make-A-Wish grants the child’s first wish ensuring that all immediate family members participate. In doing so we provide long-lasting and happy memories for those relatives, whatever the future may hold. Further information about Make-A-Wish in Ireland can be viewed on their website

The entry fee for the Championship is €60 if submitted on or prior to 17th August 2013 or €75 thereafter. We at Sutton Dinghy Club are requesting that competitors raise sponsorship funds for Make-A-Wish in Ireland of at least €100 at local level and submit to Sutton Dinghy Club at the Event. While this is not mandatory, your support would be very much appreciated.

Sponsorship cards will be posted to every person who submits an entry. Simultaneously, you could create your own fundraising page on the www.mycharity.ie website on which Make-A-Wish in Ireland have listed the event. This will make it so much easier for your friends and colleagues to contribute to your fundraising effort online. Copy the following link to bring you straight to the page.

As we have already received a number of entries for the championship, it would be wonderful if you submitted your entry as soon as possible. Please help us make this the best attended GP14 Championship of Ireland in recent years.

Thank you,

Hugh Gill,
