One of the Clubs top GP14 sailors Alan Blay teamed up with JP McCaldin for the North Sails J24 Southerns at Royal Cork Yacht Club last weekend. McCaldin, himself a leading GP14 sailor has campaigned his J24 Jamais Encore over the last few years and went very well at the Nationals on Lough Erne last year with Blay on board.
