Last Friday night saw the Irish Sailing Awards take place online. One of our hardest working Committee members Mandy Kelly, was nominated in the 2020 Irish Sailing Volunteer of the Year category.
Aside from her efforts on behalf of Sutton Dinghy Club, Mandy is a Committee member of the Optimist Class Association IODAI and has organised and co-ordinated IODAI’s Training week held each year in Baltimore. The award went to John Leahy from Cruiser Association of Ireland, but in an incredibly tough field Mandy’s nomination is well deserved.
