It is with sadness we note the passing of Ann Johnston (nee Dyer), mum of former Commodore Andy and granmother to Jake, David, Meisha and Lien, all involved in Sutton Dinghy Club down the years. 
Ann herself was a former member, joining as a Junior in late 40s and sailing through to late 50s. A competitive crew, Ann sailed International 12s, Snipes, Hornets and IDRA14s in the heyday of David & Robert Hogg, Andrew Knowles, Charm & Gerry Sargent, Chris Keddie, Andy Deveraux, Lua & Aidan Henry and her cousin Dronz Arigho. Ann kept in touch with the Club down the years, following in the racing exploits of David, Meisha and Lien and attended our Annual Dinner as recently as 2 weeks ago. 
The Funeral is set for 10am Tuesday 12th in Church of Our Mother of Divine Grace, Raheny, followed by Dardistown Crematorium. The family would be delighted if friends and family could join them afterwards for refreshments in Howth Yacht Club’.
