Racing on Day 3 of the Zhik GP14 UK Nationals was delayed with winds getting well into high 20’s (mph) on Tor Bay. Eventually the PRO sent the fleet out to the race course with more than a few returning before racing got underway
Shane McCarthy & Andy Thompson (Greystones SC) took their second race of the series in what turned out to be the only race of the day.This results sees the Greystones SC pair leading after 4 races from Flynn & Froggat (Chase SC) with Watson & Turner (Nantwic
h) runners up in last years World Championships now 3rd.
Sutton Dinghy Clubs Alan Blay & David Johnston continued their good form with a 9th in very difficult conditions. With the first discard kicking in they dropped a place to lie 5th.
