We had our last supervised sailing evening of the summer last night. Our own 12 club optimists and 2 mirrors were joined by 8 guest ‘Taste of Sailing’ sailors and 11 visiting Malahide Yacht Club juniors over for inter-club fun sailing. 
We were lucky to get a window of dry and sunny conditions with light winds. For some of the above sailors from MYC juniors it was their first experience of the open sea. On the other hand our ‘Taste of Sailing’ sailors have become established sailors with SDC over the summer. Thanks to all Sutton Dinghy Club teenagers who offered their time and skills to make the night a success.
Home made pizza and BBQ were on offer after their on the water activity. A good evening had by all. Mandy Kelly (Junior Affairs Officer)
