Sad news – Howth Brownies Brown Owl, Lua Clarke, a lifelong supporter of Sutton Dinghy Club and sister of former Commodore Aidan Henry, passed away suddenly last evening.
Lua dedicated her life to the wider Howth community, and particularly generations of its children through her association with the Irish Girl Guides, Howth Brownies and of course the Howth Summer Project.
Lua grew up on Strand Road, Sutton, sailing a Snipe from Kilbarrack Sailing Club and later crewing for Dronze Arigo in a International 12 from Sutton Dinghy Club.
Our condolences go to the Clarke and Henry families as they come to terms with this sad event.
