A great day was had at the Poolbeg yacht club on the 17th of June. Ethan Harte represented SDC in the Poolbeg 2023 Summer Junior Regatta. 
This year’s race took place in front of the marina, just West and East of the East Link Toll bridge. The event, provided good hearted competition in a new and interesting sailing area.
There were two classes, a double-handed class in the clubs Topazes, and a single-handed fleet in their Toppers. There were 4 races, with 1 discard, it was the best 3 races of each boat. The race briefing began at 11:00 in the club, with first gun at 11:30. The price-giving was at 1pm with Ethan taking first place. Lots of fun and festivities followed.A fun regatta with a great atmosphere!
