Well known dinghy sailor and member of Sutton Dinghy Club, Pat Murphy has kindly agreed to do his Erskine Childers Asgard lecture in the Clubhouse on February 22nd @ 8pm.
Pat will highlight the impact the 1914 Gun Running into Howth had on the 1916 Rising and Irish Independence. Pat will bring the story up to date with an update on the Asgard conservation.
Entry is free. A small donation for Raheny Hospice would be greatly appreciated. The event is open to members, friends, neighbours and anyone interested in hearing about one of Ireland’s most enthralling stories.
