Hi everyone
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everybody who volunteered and assisted in every and any way to make this past weekend with the Inter-Schools a super success for the Club.

The event is a major undertaking for the Club and this year we had an increased entry of 32 schools from across the country. With 107 boats participating on the water it was great to see the whole event planning and organisation come together and run like clockwork.

The event is hugely popular and the logistics for the Club are enormous. Be it in event planning, administration, race entries, results, prizes, shore management, launching, lunches/tea & coffee, club preparation, committee boat, rescue, mark laying or any of the other multitude of roles, the inputs and parts played by everyone are vital to the whole operation.

This year I am delighted also to see many of our newer members and sailors of all ages taking on the volunteer mantle. The level of inter-club support from all sides of the bay too is much appreciated and particularly so with the provision of rescue craft and extra personnel.

There is a great tradition around this event in Sutton Dinghy Club and I feel that we can all be proud of how well it went this year again.

Many thanks one and all.

Regards
