Hugh Gill is fundraising for St. Francis Hospice through his participation in the Dublin City Half Marathon 2026. He is taking part in memory of his son, Jamie, who spent the final week of his life in the care of the hospice. Hugh and his family experienced exceptional compassion and support from the staff and volunteers at St. Francis Hospice during that difficult time. Jamie himself ran the New York City Half Marathon 2023, making Hugh’s participation in the Dublin race a meaningful tribute to his son and a way to give back to the hospice that cared for him.
